Berry Crumble

This berry crumble is the perfect balance of sweet and tart, tender and crisp, fruit and crumble. Serving it with creamy cooling yogurt or ice cream on the side is highly recommended.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180C.
  2. Put the flour, oats, butter, and 10g sugar in a bowl and squash together with your fingers into a crumbly texture. Sprinkle over a baking tray and bake for 10 mins.
  3. In an ovenproof dish, spoon in the defrosted berries fruit. The berries are tart so sprinkle over a little extra brown sugar if you would like a sweeter dessert.
  4. Sprinkle the crumble mix over the frozen berries and bake for 10 mins. Serve with FoodLand ice cream or First Choice yogurt.

Ingredients

  • 20g Golden Cloud Cake Flour
  • 10g Liberty Quick Oats
  • 20g FoodLand Butter
  • 20g Brown Sugar (10g for crumble and 10g for fruit)
  • 1 cup Fruit Frozen Mixed Berries (defrosted and drained)
