Beer Battered Fish

Frydays always taste better when you enjoy it fried. Beer battered fried fish with crispy chips will make you think you’re at the seaside.

Directions

  1. In a bowl mix flour, spice, egg, and beer and whisk to form a smoother batter and set aside.
  2. Pat hake fillets dry and season with salt and pepper, then dip into the batter.
  3. Fry in hot oil for 5 minutes or until golden brown. 
  4. Serve with crispy chips and tartar sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 Hake Fillets

  • Oil for Deep Frying 

  • 1 cup Flour

  • 1 tbsp Fish Spice

  • 1 FoodLand Egg

  • 200ml Clausthaler Original Non Alcoholic Beer

  • Salt and Pepper
